Today I’m going to share the missing pieces that will transform the way you think about migraines and how you approach ending your pain.
Before we begin, I want you to know that I understand what you're going through because I've been there myself.
I used to believe that there was no way to put an end to migraines, and my only options were to learn to live with them or keep searching for that elusive magic pill that might provide temporary relief.
It's important to acknowledge the doubts and uncertainties you may have are perfectly normal and expected since every time you try something new to end your pain it falls short.
Throughout this mini Migraine Breakthroughâ„¢ Course, we will talk about why many of the things you tried failed to relieve your pain so you have a clear understanding of what will work.
When I had daily pain, my skepticism was through the roof because, after trying everything and seeking help from numerous medical professionals, only to be disappointed repeatedly, I had lost hope.
However, after years of scientific research and training, I now know that migraines are not the root problem; they are just a symptom of a much larger issue.
Back then, I didn't have that understanding.
I thought the only way to continue to push through the rest of my life was by relying on medications prescribed by my doctor, which I now know aimed to minimize the pain I was feeling, not fix the root cause of the pain.
I suffered from excruciating neck and shoulder pain, constant exhaustion, body aches, anxiety, depression, irritability, brain fog, gut health issues, and even insomnia.
At one point, I was taking seven different medications daily plus over-the-counter pills just so I could push through.
Little did I know that I was jeopardizing my long-term health and burdening my organs, actions that cannot be undone or reversed, leaving me with lifelong consequences..some of which may not show up for years.
Even though the doctors I visited helped manage some of the pain, I felt like just another patient on their long list of chronic sufferers.
They didn't have the time or inclination to understand the underlying causes of my health struggles, delve into my medical history, or truly listen to my challenges and fears.
Most of them had never experienced what I was going through and couldn't comprehend the depth of my pain and fear it would never stop.
Despite my skepticism, I knew deep down that I needed to try something different. What I was doing wasn't working, and I had nothing to lose by exploring other options outside of conventional and even alternative therapies.
