Taking Back Control: Breaking Free From Migraines & Rediscovering Joy

A journey to finding hope and embracing the future.

Throughout my 20s and 30s, I found myself going through the motions.

Each day like clockwork.

I would care for my kids and work hard at my job.

In the evenings, I would manage homework and cook dinner, leaving just enough energy for bath time, bedtime stories, and collapsing into bed, exhausted and in pain.

I had come to accept this life as my reality— the life shaped by my chronic migraines.

Migraines were not a stranger to my family; my mother, sister, and grandmother all suffered the same fate.

I quickly adapted to a life revolving around ibuprofen, Imitrex, Amitriptyline, and constant pain, which would sometimes reach unbearable levels.

Limited by time, resources, and lack of knowledge, I believed a better life was unreachable.   Who has time to research effectively when in pain-sorting through all of the conflicting information and ‘noise’?  However, I have learned to forgive myself for not knowing better and for not striving to change my circumstances.

As I watch mothers with young children living the life I once yearned for, echoes of jealousy sometimes emerge.

Other days, the weight of missed moments and hazy memories had me in a cloud from medication - induced fog often times bringing me to tears.

But these struggles have fueled my passion, inspiring me to make a change and ensuring others can avoid my path.

The Migraine Freedom Protocol™ my life's work, was born from my own tribulations.

While it cannot give me my lost years back, it has allowed me to RECLAIM my future.

This weekend, I'm making up for the lost time - camping with my grown children, swimming at the beach, and creating new, migraine-free memories.

I have learned to embrace the present, grateful for the opportunity to overcome my migraines and encourage other women to seek freedom.

Don't wait to take control of your life, break free from migraine shackles, and rediscover the joy in every moment.

A message from Debbie:
"I was once right where you are now.  100% believing there was NO WAY to end migraines and my only option was to learn how to live with them or find that magic pill that maybe would work for a while.  If anyone told me back then that I could end my pain once and for all, I would have called BS and popped another pill!

Skeptical times 10  was my middle name for sure because when you try it all and everyone tells you they can help you and they don’t.   You stop believing…  you lose HOPE!

I now realize I was approaching my migraines all backward.

I was trying to cover up symptoms versus trying to end my pain."
