How to Have a Migraine-Free Holiday Season
(Without Missing the Moments That Matter)

Picture This: A Holiday Without Pain

It’s Thanksgiving morning.
The smells are incredible, the laughter fills the house, and the table’s overflowing with food — but behind your smile, that familiar pressure is already building behind your eyes.

You tell yourself, “Not again.”
You push through. You do what you always do.

But deep down, you’re wondering why this keeps happening — and whether the holidays will ever feel joyful again.

But deep down, you’re wondering why this keeps happening — and whether the holidays will ever feel joyful again.

Why the Holidays Hit So Hard

If you’ve ever woken up on a holiday morning already in migraine mode, you know the feeling — your body working against you while everyone else celebrates. It’s frustrating. It’s isolating. And it steals the joy right out of the season.

But here’s the good news:
You can make small, strategic shifts that protect your energy, calm your inflammation network, and bring joy back into your life — starting now.

Because the holidays aren’t about doing everything.
They’re about feeling present.

Simplify Like Sue

When Sue first started her Migraine Freedom™ journey, she did what so many women do: she pushed through.
She cooked for hours, shopped for everyone, said yes to every invite — all while her body screamed for rest.

As she worked through The Freedom From Migraines Method®, she began making small, intentional changes.

She simplified.
She cut back on the endless gift lists.
She focused more on connection than perfection.

“Debbie, I realized the best memories I had were never about the presents — they were about the people.”

As Sue simplified, her nervous system calmed.
Her stress dropped.
Her migraines became fewer and less intense.

Now, she doesn’t think twice — she’s migraine-free.
But it all started with those small decisions that honored her body instead of fighting it.

Rethink the Gifts

The pressure to find the perfect thing for everyone can trigger more than stress — it can fuel inflammation.

My client Sheri used to spend hours in fluorescent-lit stores, dehydrated and skipping meals.
By the time she wrapped her gifts, she was in bed for two days with a migraine.

Now she shops online — blue-light glasses on, ginger tea in hand — and sets a 30-minute timer.
She told me, “It was the first Christmas I didn’t spend half of it in a dark room.”

That’s what I want for you.
Simple. Intentional. Peaceful.

Eat for Peace, Not Perfection

Don’t aim for perfect. Aim for prepared.

Know your red flags.
Bring something you can eat without worry.
And never apologize for protecting your health.

Julie, one of my long-term clients, used to feel embarrassed bringing her own food to family dinners. Now she proudly brings her migraine-friendly stuffing and pumpkin pie — and everyone eats her dishes first.

When you eat for healing, you inspire everyone around you.

Protect Your Peace (Even Around Family)

Family can be both your biggest source of joy and your biggest trigger.
There will always be someone who doesn’t get it — who says, “It’s just a headache.”

You can’t change them.
But you can change how you show up.

✅ You’re allowed to protect your peace.
✅ You’re allowed to say no.

✅ You’re allowed to leave early.

That doesn’t make you selfish — it makes you wise.

Maybe the theme this year is wisdom — in how you plan, rest, give, and nourish yourself.

This Year, Choose Joy Over “Just Getting By”

Ask yourself one simple question:

“What would make me feel calm, connected, and content this season?”

For some women, it’s saying no to travel.
For others, it’s waking up on Christmas morning without pain — for the first time in years.

Whatever that looks like for you, that’s your goal.

You’ve fought too hard and come too far to let migraines dictate your joy.
This is the year you stop surviving the holidays… and start enjoying them.

Because migraine freedom isn’t just about being pain-free —
it’s about getting your life back: your energy, your laughter, your memories.

💛 Here’s to the calmest, brightest holiday season yet.

She supports busy moms living with Migraines.

Debbie will uncover what is holding them back from migraine freedom so they can live their life pain and symptom free, work productively, spend the time they want with family and friends, and stop missing out on the things they enjoy.

A message from Debbie:
"I was once right where you are now.  100% believing there was NO WAY to end migraines and my only option was to learn how to live with them or find that magic pill that maybe would work for a while.  If anyone told me back then that I could end my pain once and for all, I would have called BS and popped another pill!

Skeptical times 10  was my middle name for sure because when you try it all and everyone tells you they can help you and they don’t.   You stop believing…  you lose HOPE!

I now realize I was approaching my migraines all backward.

I was trying to cover up symptoms versus trying to end my pain."
