Discover the Overlooked Connection Between Liver Health, Hormones, and Migraines | Unlocking Relief

Have you ever had one of those days? You know the kind – shoulders hunched from stress and a migraine starting as you scramble to finish the day's chores. You're not alone, and trust me, there's a light at the end of the tunnel. You see, hidden amidst the chaos of our daily lives is a secret ally – our liver.

Everyday life may cause us to overlook this powerhouse that’s quietly working behind the scenes. Not only is our liver processing that Friday night glass of wine, but it's also working hard at filtering our blood, producing bile, breaking down nutrients and tossing out toxins.

In fact, our liver's health may hold the key to unlocking pain free days.

The Liver-Migraine Connection

What does our liver have to do with migraines? It’s so much more than meets the eye. Evidence suggests a link between metabolic syndrome, migraines, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, often fueled by indulgence in our beloved sugary snacks.
When you add common stressors like alcohol, environmental toxins, and unhealthy meals to the mix, you've got an overwhelmed liver that may trigger those familiar symptoms.

Nurture Your Liver, Relieve Your Migraines

Small steps to nurture your liver can make a significant impact on your migraine health. Consider integrating liver-friendly foods like kale into your meals, cutting down on alcohol, and carefully assessing your usage of medication. Steps like these have the potential to relieve your liver from its overtime duties and indirectly reduce migraines, letting you reclaim control over your body.

Just as your dishwasher tirelessly cleans up after meals, your liver is in a constant state of eliminating toxins and excess hormones. But there's a limit to what it can process in a day. Overload it, and the surplus remnants can slow you down, much like a dishwasher that can't fit one more dish. Treat your liver with kindness, and it can help you on your path to migraine freedom.

If you're ready to dive deeper into this, check out our handy guide on toxicity mitigation which shares more on how to truly show your love for your liver, one step at a time.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Debbie Waidl is the Owner of In The Balance Health Coaching LLC, and Founder of The Freedom From Migraines Method™   & The Migraine Freedom Protocol™
She supports busy moms living with Migraines.

Debbie will uncover what is holding them back from migraine freedom so they can live their life pain and symptom free, work productively, spend the time they want with family and friends, and stop missing out on the things they enjoy.

A message from Debbie:
"I was once right where you are now.  100% believing there was NO WAY to end migraines and my only option was to learn how to live with them or find that magic pill that maybe would work for a while.  If anyone told me back then that I could end my pain once and for all, I would have called BS and popped another pill!

Skeptical times 10  was my middle name for sure because when you try it all and everyone tells you they can help you and they don’t.   You stop believing…  you lose HOPE!

I now realize I was approaching my migraines all backward.

I was trying to cover up symptoms versus trying to end my pain."
