Why we track

Kathy, a graduate of our Freedom From Migraines Method™ Complete Program had been dealing with 25+ migraines a month for 15 years, trying different medications and treatments to relieve her pain.

She and her husband have a very busy dairy farm and a market garden business.

Kathy struggled for so long trying to work out in the gardens for 10 months out of the year with massive head pain.  She tried Triptans, OTC, and once a month shots to end the pain.  Kathy couldn't figure out what was causing her migraines and how to end it.

When Kathy started working with us she began using The Migraine Success Tracker as part of her program and noticed patterns she had never seen before.  She shared her data on our weekly coaching calls and daily through access to our Client Success Coaching team.  By having this data and a team to audit the results Kathy develop a personalized plan for her.

Now Kathy no longer relies solely on medication to get through a migraine.

She has made lifestyle changes, prioritized self-care, and is better equipped to manage and even prevent migraines.  Kathy says, "Getting a migraine these days is shocking to me, and when I do have one, my pain is normally at a minimal level, and I have tools to manage that and often prevent a full-blown migraine."

Like Kathy, our private clients through the Migraine Freedom Protocol™ benefit from Migraine Success Tracking.  However, the key to success lies in professionally auditing that data.  Data is only useful if someone can analyze and read it.   Think about getting bloodwork back from your doctor. If you look at all of the numbers in isolation they don't mean anything.  But taking a look at all of them together can help your doctor determine areas that need your attention and others that are spot on.

The same is true for migraines.

There are 6 key areas of inflammation we know are at the root of all chronic illness and impact migraines and symptoms associated with migraines.  Looking at one of these areas in isolation will not give you a full picture of what you need to focus on for pain relief.  Looking at all 6 key areas together will give you the missing pieces to the puzzle, allowing for an actual plan to be developed and success achieved.

For example we cannot know how to work on our Electrolyte Symmetry if we don't understand all 6 key areas especially Nutrition Integration and movement stabilization.

The food you eat impacts electrolyte balance so blindly adding electrolytes to your day without evaluating what foods you eat is a recipe for a migriane.  And movement stabilization, our daily activity level, needs to be considered before electrolytes are added or reduced for proper hydration.

Our clients use The Migraine Success Tracker: A Personal Audit for Your Migraine Freedom to track these 6 key areas and gain valuable information.

If you're serious about moving beyond pain management tactics and getting to the root causes of your migraines, this type of in depth structure and analysis is key to your lasting success.  This type of tracking only needs to be done short term as long as you have someone to read the results properly so you can turn your focus to the areas needed to support your migriane freedom.  It's an opportunity to regain control over your life and say goodbye to pain dictating your days.

Gather the essential facts and have your results audited by a migraine specialist.

Trust me the few minutes a day you spend writing a few things down will be well worth the time you get back to live the rest of your life migraine free.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Debbie Waidl is the Owner of In The Balance Health Coaching LLC, and Founder of The Freedom From Migraines Method™   & The Migraine Freedom Protocol™
She supports busy moms living with Migraines.

Debbie will uncover what is holding them back from migraine freedom so they can live their life pain and symptom free, work productively, spend the time they want with family and friends, and stop missing out on the things they enjoy.

A message from Debbie:
"I was once right where you are now.  100% believing there was NO WAY to end migraines and my only option was to learn how to live with them or find that magic pill that maybe would work for a while.  If anyone told me back then that I could end my pain once and for all, I would have called BS and popped another pill!

Skeptical times 10  was my middle name for sure because when you try it all and everyone tells you they can help you and they don’t.   You stop believing…  you lose HOPE!

I now realize I was approaching my migraines all backward.

I was trying to cover up symptoms versus trying to end my pain."
