To address this need, we offer several ongoing support options:

- Monthly Quick-Fire Q&A: Every third Wednesday of the month, I'll host a 15-minute Quick-Fire Q&A session in the Women’s Migraine Freedom™ Facebook Group—a space created specifically for women experiencing migraines. Bring your burning questions, and we'll tackle as many as possible.

Our First Q & A: Breaking the Cycle of Persistent Head Pain

In honor of our very first Q & A Blog Post, we’re addressing this question from Jennifer:

"I’ve had some level of pain in my head for the past 18 days. I can’t seem to break the cycle, and every day the pain gets worse. Not sure where to go from here. What do I do?”

Jennifer, I understand how challenging it is to deal with consistent headaches and increasing pain. I had daily pain for over 10 years, and I support women who have had migraines for decades, so I truly empathize. You’re likely searching for immediate relief.

 

Strategies for Immediate and Long-Term Relief

Here are a few strategies that may help:

Short-Term Relief: For insights into pain management options, check out episode #52, “Pain Relief or Pain Deceivers: Are Expensive Gadgets Worth Your Dollars?” 

If medications have worked for you in the past, these gadgets could offer quick relief.

However, before starting any new medications, listen to episode #16, “Beyond the Pill Bottle: Finding True Relief from Your Migraine Battles,” to determine if they're the right choice for you in this situation.

Long-Term Relief: Focusing on Root Causes: Addressing the root causes of migraines is crucial for lasting results.

The Migraine Freedom™ Protocol focuses on six key areas.

For example, it is crucial to focus on Electrolyte Symmetry—ensuring adequate hydration and avoiding dehydrating substances like caffeine and alcohol.

Also, consider your nutrition over the past few days, avoiding potential triggers and ensuring a diverse and balanced diet. Ask yourself important questions like, "Is your diet diverse enough?" "How often are you eating?" and "Are the pairings of foods working well for you?"

Addressing these areas, along with the other four components of our protocol, can provide both immediate and long-term relief.

Chronic pain often indicates high levels of inflammation, a signal from your body that something needs attention. Reducing chronic inflammation will raise your migraine threshold and bring you closer to migraine freedom.
